Ive had low cuts, waves, twist, braids, and a big ass curly fro. Low cuts and waves will always be in style but there nothin like having long hair. It’s like a color palette, the styles u can make are limitless but the only thing that is somewhat of an inconvenience is the upkeep. And that can be fixed with a routine. The bottom line is the husssss love it 😂

I started my dread loc journey 2 years ago. it's down to my shoulders now and i get a ton of compliments and looks. Your point about saving money on haircuts is exactly why I started fro'ing after COVID, eventually deciding to go with Twists > dreads. You do have to fork out about $50-80 a month on oils and shampoos though but that's only if you plan to wash a lot like me.
